Quesadilla’s Chicken Pasta:
Service time: 13.26 minutes (thirteen minutes)
The chicken pasta at Quesadilla was what we would call, half good (because we’re optimists). They tried to bring a Mexican twist to the pasta with hot spices in the sauce with the chicken and the fact of no order in the variations of 3 types of macaroni I found two pieces of macaroni of a fourth type. This just looked out of place.
Texture: the ‘pasta’ was seasoned well and was very creamy (arguably too creamy, leaving a sweet aftertaste, but if you’re into that….). The chicken was chewy, taking the creaminess of the pasta into account, we felt as if it was quite out of place as well. Not getting a hint of chicken in every bite was a bit disappointing.
Taste wise, the pasta was more Italian influenced than Mexican. Not what we expected. Felt as if it was made with relatively skilled hands, but devised by someone not so skilled.
With no actual Mexican or Italian spice (we here at TheFoodCourt are desperately waiting for a pasta with proper Italian spices and pasta styles, that doesn’t implement Wallet Mass Reduction Technology ‘WMRT’) the pasta at Quesadilla gets a 3/5 on the meal scale, for its texture and as its price is at a medium 215/- .
