Tiramisu
The tiramisu cake from ‘I love cake’ was very close to an ideal tiramisu cake . The four layers limit the creativity, but as far the price goes, 150/- isn’t a rip off like their cupcake.
The four layers consist of two cream layers and two cake layers. Both the cream layers were exactly the same, with the top cream layer powdered with raw (un-torched) coco powder which wasn’t bad. The coco was bitter on its own but with the sweet cream, it was the right amount of bitter and worked very well. I would say they pulled it off rather successfully. Our team didn’t really have much to say about the tiramisu cake other than the fact that it was quite well executed. A pleasant treat and something they would order again (with coffee).
We would happily give the tiramisu cake a full 4 out of five on the cake scale. As it is a great treat and is worth a try for anyone with a skeptical sweet tooth. -PK
